What’s This Workshop About

This is a one-day hands-on workshop designed to teach people how to improve top-line results using business process improvement methods. All business activities are run by processes. Some of those processes are robust and others, not so much.

Marketing and Sales processes are notoriously ad-hoc in most companies. And all processes are perfectly constructed to achieve the results they produce. Business process improvement is a proven methodology for quickly and effectively modifying a business process to produce better results.

During this workshop attendees will work on a pre-determined actual marketing or sales process from your company and learn effective techniques to improve it. We recommend 3-8 attendees from each company (your monetary investment is the same regardless of the number of people who attend from your company … up to eight). This workshop is the perfect follow-on to our Lean Marketing/Sales Workshop and can be attended by companies that have not attended that Workshop and are ready to learn to apply business process improvement methods.
 

By the end of this course attendees will have been shown:

The application of process management principles to marketing and sales processes
How to incorporate these principles into small projects or large cross-functional marketing and sales initiatives
Specific techniques that can be used to improve a business process and how to apply them
An improved business process selected by you prior to the Workshop
 

Who Should Attend

This workshop is for companies, divisions of companies, and departments within companies that are ready to move beyond gut feel and guess work as the primary driver for marketing and sales decisions. If you’re ready to change how you manage marketing and sales to get better and more predictable top-line results, then this workshop is for you.

We recommend that 3-8 people attend from the company, division or department (it’s the same price) because they will work on a real company process during this workshop. This can include marketing people, sales management people, finance people and of course, general managers. All should find value in what this workshop offers.

We have not scheduled specific locations at this time. When and where the next workshops will be scheduled depends on a bunch of variables, including whether there is enough interest from a particular location to do it there.

You can’t get better without making an investment. This workshop involves several investments to get the results you need, want, and demand. Here are the three investments:

The one day that attendees are not at work doing whatever it is they would have done that day
The change(s) you will need to accept to make what we are going to teach you work in your company
$2,400 per company for up to eight people per company.
 

Pre-Work for the Workshop

If you decide to attend the Workshop we will work with you prior to the Workshop by phone to help you select an appropriate process to improve during the Workshop. We will help you make sure you bring the right people and information to the Workshop so that you can make real, tangible progress towards improving the process.
